Faxi is delighted to have achieved a double awards shortlisting at this year’s TRANStech Awards, an event which celebrates companies that are aiming to improve transport through technology.
Shortlisted as a finalist for the New Mobility Provider of the Year Award; an award which recognises new and innovative transport alternatives, Faxi has additionally been shortlisted for Partnership of the Year Award due to its majority stake relationship with Toyota Financial Services, announced earlier this year.
CEO and Co-Founder of Faxi, Tony Lynch, said: “We are really pleased to have been shortlisted for these awards; it’s great to be recognised for everything we are doing to transform traditional modes of transport. We are aiming to change the way people commute to work, to help organisations become more environmentally-conscious, and to reduce the reliance on single occupancy vehicles on the everyday commute.
“It no longer makes sense, nor is it sustainable, for individuals to be driving to the same place of work every day and causing harmful emissions, congestion, and parking issues. We need to switch on to a smarter way to commute and organisations are now realising it is their responsibility as much as employees’ to change these behaviour patterns.
“This is why Faxi works – because we can incentivise, prove, and reward every sustainable commute, which fundamentally means everyone wins.”
Faxi has revolutionised the traditional concept of carpooling with its smartphone app, which, using patent applied-for technology, can provide proof of carpooling. This allows organisations to offer incentives and rewards to employees who carpool on their commute to/from work, such as priority or reserved car parking.
Faxi’s Software as a Service (SaaS) provides an effective and measurable carpooling scheme for organisations, allowing them to collectively work towards transport sustainability objectives such as CO2 and NOx savings, by reducing single-occupancy vehicles, overcrowded car parks, and localised traffic congestion.
The app additionally helps employees to save time, money and hassle on their daily commute. Using a smart algorithm, colleagues can be matched with others who share the same route to work and commute times and, with an easy to use interface, can gain direct access to car park barrier systems simply by recording their carpool via the app.
As a rapidly expanding tech company, Faxi is also about to release an update which allows users to verify any commute which involves cycling and walking to work, to allow employers to recognise and reward those who are participating in sustainable activities.
Faxi is excited to have been shortlisted for the awards as it provides further validation of our smart mobility solution which is evolving rapidly in step with commuters as the world switches on to a better way to commute.
